In Psalm 119:105 it reads:
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path.”
Have you ever wondered why such a word might show up in your life? What does it really mean?
It’s my thought it will reveal itself when doubt becomes big in our life or if we are living a life of disobedience stress and tension will override our life. It can become more unbearable than it needs to be at times but when we live with an attitude that says I will walk in submission and obedience to God’s Word it can change our status of stress.
If disobedience is operating in our lives it brings with it a companion, DOUBT and doubt can cause us to become crippled in our faith. You see, faith is empowering, and faith in action will push us into victory.
I have learned all too well over the years that we can be believers but still choose to walk in doubt everyday. It takes discipline, studying the word of God, having an intimate relationship with Jesus that strengthens our faith and leads us into a path of confidence, boldness, security, assurance, strength and ultimately a mindset to believe that we can overcome all things with Jesus and although our faith may become shaken we will not be moved….We must be doers of the word and not just hearers.
My encouragement to us today is to change our walk of doubt and begin the walk of victory!!!!
