For Such A Time As This

Esther, she is one of my most favorite bible people to read about. Although the book does not reference God specifically it is very evident Esther knew who He was, she knew her position and that she had a call on her life. This was coming from a young orphan girl.

In Esther 4:14, it reads “Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.”

What does this verse mean to you?

I hear, God has placed us on this earth at this time and has placed each of us where we are and with the people we are with for a reason.

Maybe He has us where we are so we can be an influence on the people we work with.

Maybe He has allowed a major life-change event not expected because He wanted us to be somewhere else to influence someone else.

Maybe He has us where we are so we can be more involved in ministry or bible studies to strengthen our faith.

Wherever we are, doors may be opening and closing in our life because He is leading us to bigger things.

If we are patient and are open to His calling, we can realize the plans He has for us and for the people we will influence.

Esther was told “you were born for such a time as this”. With that said; in my life, in your life, we can all make a difference where God has placed us, no matter where it is.

We may not see the opportunity now, but if we stay willing and open to His calling, we will find much fulfillment in His plans!

Maybe…just maybe we were born “for such a time as this”.

About Me

My name is Kim Brasher. I started writing back in 2015 not ever really believing I would go any further than just encouraging myself. As I have grown in my relationship with my Heavenly Father, I discovered writing is a gift I have, and as I began to share it with others the Lord encouraged me to go wider with it.

Thoughts to Ponder are just that, something to meditate over, something to consider. How does it relate to you? There is no right or wrong in your answer, we are all on a journey and we each grow differently at different places.

My prayer is that you will be blessed by reading and may you become encouraged. Please feel free to leave your feedback, as it is always welcomed.
